Commun-ET Expands PermitPilot to 300 Jurisdictions

Commun-ET today announced that PermitPilot's jurisdictional coverage has expanded to 300 municipalities and counties, completing a multi-quarter rollout that now includes every US metropolitan area with a population above 250,000.

The expansion brings same-day plan-review queue intelligence, jurisdiction-specific code interpretation, and predictive cycle-time modeling to operators running national programs.

    What's covered

All 50 states are represented, with deep coverage across the top 100 metros. The platform now ingests live updates from 84 plan-review systems via direct integration and continuously monitors the remainder via authorized public sources.

Customers can now run portfolio-wide queries, comparing review cycle times across regions, identifying jurisdictions with abnormal congestion, and routing new projects accordingly.

    Why now

The expansion responds to demand from enterprise customers managing rollouts across 30+ states. Prior to the expansion, multi-state programs had to stitch together coverage from regional sources. PermitPilot's unified data model removes that overhead.

    What's next

Commun-ET will extend coverage to international markets beginning in Q3, with Canada and the UK as the initial targets. The Agent Control Center will continue rolling out specialized agents tied to the expanded jurisdiction set.
